Second time here since I live on west coast of Florida. Great meal. We had make your own pasta. I had cavatelli with broccoli and sausage in olive oil and garlic. Just wonderful. The eggplant parmigiana was wonderful too as was the sausage and peppers. The 2 for 1 drinks hit the spot. The wait staff was young and attentive. The GM NEEDS TO to up her game. A bit fake . Next time I'm in Boynton Beach I will be here.

Delicious food, amazing bread! Having our rehearsal dinner for our wedding here, that's how much we love it. Awesome food! Family owned business :)

I'm not a huge fan of Italian food. It is often over sauced, the pasta is from a box and the ingredients aren't fresh. Agliolio does it right! Fresh pasta, the right amount of sauce, fresh ingredients, great service and a fair price. I don't think you can beat them for value and quality.

Great experience. Love the homemade pasta and selection of sauces. Great salad appetizer. Be back for sure!

Was here for my first time the other night with a group of my girlfriends and the food and service was nothing short of spectacular! Our waiter was right on point with his suggestion to start with the spicy calamari which was some of the best I've had. To drink I had there dirty martini and I was very pleased that they had blue cheese stuffed olives because that is my favorite way to enjoy my martini. For dinner I had the linguine with white clam sauce which was full of clams and just the right amount of sauce. Will definitely be back as well as tell everyone I know to come check it out.

Great homemade pasta . Service at bar and table was awesome! And the chocolate lasagna was to die for!

My friend and I went here for a quick lunch. It honestly was completely empty when we got there at lunchtime, and it was quiet... and kind of awkward picking a table. Anyhow they have a cute menu, things appear to be homemade and that fresh Italian smell is delicious. They have a lunch soup and salad deal and a half panini and soup/salad deal too. Also a marinara meatball sandwich special. We both went for the bottomless soup and salad. I would say it was better than Olive Garden but not spectacular. The tomato basil soup was absolutely delicious but the other two Italian soups weren't. The bread was warm, drizzled with olive oil and very much homemade. The only issue was that they bring out such a little plate of it at a time, that we seemed a bit like pigs having to ask the waitress for more every time we saw her. Overall quite yummy, would like to go back for dinner because the winebar looks so nice and romantic.

Very authentic Italian food. Their homemade gluten free pasta is on point, best I've had in the states, comparable to the ones I've tried in Italy. I loved it! The chef and staff is very nice and knowledgeable. They truly understand what it means to have a gluten allergy. My two guests also loved their dishes. All their pasta are homemade. They have happy hour everyday til 6 or 7 off their entire list excluding bottles. The place is big enough to accommodate large parties. There's plenty of parking outside the lot. We had 2 appetizers and 3 entrée, came to be around $80 not including tipping. To me, I think the pricing is pretty reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I'm from NYC and Boston so my gauge on what's reasonable pricing vs expensive might be off. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Italian food, especially people who needs to be gluten free! Cuz I sure have cravings for pasta sometimes. If only they made a gluten free tiramisu.

The food, which is generally lumped into a combine-pasta-a-with-sauce-b kind of menu, is really quite good. The service is excellent. The dining room is a bit plastic and wanna-be cool, so I drop it a star for the atmosphere, and the McBar which, while staffed well, is stocked like Mickey'Ds might stock a bar if they did booze (which would certainly help their food, but not Agliolio...) It's very authentic American-Italian food, without much pretense, and very solid marinara and other bases.

Are you kidding me?!?!? This place is AMAZING!!!! Why go anywhere else, especially if your in the mood for Italian. Mangia, Mangia. Seriously, my favorite restaurant and bar! The food and service is exceptional. Katie, the bartender is amazing!!! Won't find a friendlier bartender. Love this place and you will too!!!

Hidden Italian Gem. Almost scared to review it, and let out my secret favorite Italian spot. All homemade fresh pasta and toppings. Comes with meal from classic menu. You pick type of pasta, sauce and toppings. Crusty bread at table. Casual. Love this place.

In searching for new places to try a while back, I came across Agliolio. Italian is a favorite in our house (good thing I am one) so I was excited to give it a shot. It's located in an unassuming shopping plaza that I have passed 100 times (enter plaza name that I don't remember) on Gateway and Congress. I often find that those are the best places to go; Agliolio is no exception. We went somewhat early on Saturday night as the hubs was worn out and hungry. I say this because when our server (Christian, points for remembering his name) was taking our drink order he mentioned that even though happy hour just ended he'd still give us half off our drinks. Pretty sweet. Sangria for me and hubs got a cappucino. With a menu of all the Italian favorites, lasagna and the like, we were most intrigued by the build your own pasta. You get to pick which noodles you want, your sauce and any and all the veggies you want as well. Oh and for a very small upcharge ($5-$8) you can add a protein, chicken, shrimp, etc. I ordered penne with pesto sauce, all my favorite veggies and grilled chicken while the hubs skipped the veggies (no dessert for him - just kidding) and ordered penne, alfredo and sausage. Our meals came with salad and while we were waiting Chrisitian brought over delicious olive oil soaked bread. It wasn't took long before dinner arrived and boy did it look good. I was so happy to hear after his first bite that it was the best alfredo sauce my husband ever had. He said it was perfectly creamy and not too rich which is exactly the way he likes his alfredo. My pasta was delcious as well. It was full of fresh veggies and the pesto sauce was homemade goodness. Both of our entrees were large enough for left overs leaving just enough room for dessert. I can never resistant tiramisu. All I'm gonna say is while I took my first bite my husband was saying something I had to have him repeat because I was in tiramisu heaven. When I tell you the best I've ever had I'm not kidding. Do yourselves a favor and purposely not finish your dinner to get it (not what I did,) but I'm just sayin', ah-mazing. We said a couple times during our meal that we will be back and we definitely will. We were very pleased with the food and impressed also with the great service. There was always a manager walking around making sure everyone had what they needed and clearing table plates and Chrisitian was always on hand in case we needed something as well. Agliolio is a true made from scratch Italian gem that will make your grandma proud.

The bread is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and so is the pink sauce. As an Italian who never likes Italian food that isn't homemade AT HOME, I can honestly say this place is a must. Keep up the great food!

They make their own pasta! And you can create your own bowl. The waiters are great and the food is excellent nice bread and good table salad. My wine was great but not enough in glass only complaint. Oh and they don't have BirthdayComp.com promotion going which they should do. We wanted to have our birthday party there but went to two georges instead $25 off no brainier I would recommend for pasta lovers

First time coming in here, and I can say that I'm satisfied. The ambiance of the restaurant is pretty cool. It has sort of an intimate feel to it. The food was great. The salad and bread were amazing. The fresh bread with olive oil was amazing. I got a tomato basil pasta with a slightly spicy red sauce with wine. You can definitely tell that it's all homemade. Next time I go I want to try the veil parmigiana or one of their pizzas.

Finally a place in S Florida where I feel like I get what I paid for! This place gets 5 stars because they hit on all the elements in my book. The Caesar was fantastic, calamari very good, bread was pretty good (I like oily and garlic, so do lots of folks...:), and so far my wife and I have tried the chicken marsala (wife is very picky on this dish and she liked it very much here) and the lasagna with Bolognese sauce. Was great!! We did try the tiramisu as some said to not miss out on it but we weren't highly impressed, we thought it was a little too sweet and could have used some more expresso. And not just saying this because we're expresso junkies. Nevertheless, even with a few flaws, this place deserves 5 stars. The GM, Amy I believe, was very professional, very friendly. She runs a tight ship I can tell but it's not outta hand. It's just downhome good management and fantastic food. We will be going back for sure.....afterall we do live in Boynton. So glad we found this place. Thanks Yelp:)!!

Ordered the Penne al Vodka with cajun chicken and it was delicious. Service was great. The only scary part was that we found a piece of the ziplock that locks the ziplock bags in the meatballs. Manager gave us free dessert.

I took the day off from work because I was fighting a bad sinus infection (TMI?). I decided to come by here for some lunch because I noticed online that they have a (vegetarian) tomato bisque soup. At lunch, they have a bunch of different specials that are reasonably priced. I ordered the angel hair Agliolio, but for the pasta, I requested spinach-roasted garlic linguini. The soup and bread was fantastic. The pasta was a little tough, but that might be because I ordered the healthier option. It was not bad but I would not order that again. However, I do have a craving sometimes for that soup. It was definitely worth the trip. When I am up for another cheat day, outside my "bodybuilder" diet, I will keep this place on the top of my list. Oh and the staff was very friendly and quick. Kudos for good service!

We've been here several times, and it's been consistently good. The service is attentive without being overbearing. The food is really well prepared, fresh and well seasoned. This visit, I ordered the breaded veal, amd angel hair with Francese sauce. The veal was crispy outside, but still nice and juicy. The pasta was perfectly cooked (sometimes hard to do with the fine pasta). Also, the portion was really generous, so we both ended up with to-go containers. I really love how you can customize your side pasta; most places charge extra for anything but the standard spaghetti.

The eggplant parm here was ultra bad. Small portion with a super thin coating of cheese in an intensely tart sauce that tasted like almost pure tomato paste. Even worse was the eggplant itself. Bitter and foul tasting. We will not be back. Service was good but not enough to overcome the single star.

    1. Menu is super complicated. You have to make everything yourself)) Why not to put ready meals on it so we dont think too much while ordering. Confusion :-(( 2. Please explain to your cook that he has to make his pan HOT before putting floured veal cutlet in. They brought me a "boiled in cold oil" version of veal marsala. Thats why the restaurant is so slow on Saturday night. Not going back until changes made:-((

First time here! We went local, to celebrate our anniversary. Call ahead to avoid a wait at supper time, so glad we did! Authentic homemade Italian in portions your grandma would serve (huge!) Bread & oil, nice wine list, appetizers, huge choices of pastas and sauces, and traditional Italian dishes. Very casual and friendly. They didn't rush us out and we had a super attentive server. The prices were amazing. Could be my new favorite place! Definitely recommend.

First time here, what a great menu! I started with a glass of Sangria, very tasty.. I opted for the Eggplant Rollatini with Penne & Vodka sauce, topped with Tomatoes, Mushrooms, roasted garlic & spinach! It was Delish, oh and I ordered a side of meatballs! The dinner came with their delicious garlic bread and house salad with a wonderful house vinaigrette! After finishing what I could, I had plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day! The wait staff was very friendly and our server Kyle was very knowledgable and I liked the fact they didn't push you out the door so to speak! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was I was really looking forward to trying the chocolate lasagna, which I did get a piece to go, however when I got home and tried it, I'm just not a fan as I thought I would be... The filling was very good, but the chocolate pasta no thank you! I'll stick to the traditional pasta.. Other than that this is great restaurant and I will definitely go back!

Been a couple of times but would never order take out....the reason why prices are "reasonable" is because portions are very small. Ordered fettuccini Alfredo to go and was appalled at the tiny plate it came in. Called the manager and he said it was supposed to be a 6 oz portion, I doubt it was that....shrimp scampi was way way too heavy on the wine in the sauce, tasted that more than the garlic, spaghetti and meatballs were delicious though

Pretty good food for the price. The pasta was delicious. We got linguine with vodka sauce and eggplant parm. Both were delicious and definitely worth going back for. The salad was not very good. Didn't like the dressing at all. Will go back again soon!

Food was good. Not the normal large Italian portions but that's ok by me. They have summer specials. Good prices. I was a little upset that the waiter was asking to wrap up food and take plates before everyone was done, there were only 3 of us. But all in all well worth the trip.

Best Italian!! My boyfriend and I both ordered the spinach and garlic linguini, him in a garlic and oil, mine with Alfredo, spinach and broccoli. Both are amazing, but I liked his more!! I also got chicken Marsala which was also very good. Next time I think if just order more past with grilled chicken. The artichoke dip was delicious but a soupy texture so if you like it thick, this may not be your thing. The Italian wedding soup was very good but I've had better. My mother ordered chicken parm and homemades with tomato sauce, she loved the chicken but said she didn't care for the sauce on the pasta. My father had francese chicken and pasta and loved them both!! The presentation was awesome! The service is awesome! Went two days ago and going back tonight to kick off some birthday celebrations!!!

Agliolio is so good!! The vodka sauce is incredible, everything is made from scratch and their weekly specials are great! If you're looking for great quality Italian for a completely reasonable price then you must try this place!

Brought my friend here to help her with her homework since she lives in the area. And she loved the pasta she ordered. Usually I'm not a fan of the bread appetizers but the complimentry bread they brought out was so delicious. I ordered crab stuff shrimps and they were out of this world amazing. The angel hair noodles complimented the crab well along with the the white pasta of choice. (I forgot the name of the pasta sauce) will definitely come back!

So, this new Italian restaurant recently opened by my house. Of course I had to check it out. I came here for a lunch with my sister. They offered lunch specials. I ended up ordering a salad with balsamic dressing. The dressing was great. They serve instead of garlic rolls slices of thick sour dough type bread with olive oil and spices. The bread was great and they do bring more if you want. My sis ordered a creamy tomato soup that she really enjoyed in addition a pasta dish. The service was friendly and efficient. I though the food and atmosphere was good. I would love to come back.

Bill w Worst take on Italian around, same level as Olive Garden. Started out great and went downhill fast. Unfriendly service and food quality. Do yourself a favor and go to Carrabba's , that's not saying much but it's the best it gets around here for Italian

Best fresh pasta anywhere. Each dish is cooked individually. Really authentic and fresh. For the money, nothing is better. Great menu, great prices, great service, and especially great food.

The place was clean the staff was helpful and polite. I started with the muscles, I asked if the were fresh and can I have them Fra diavolo. The sauce was great lots of garlic and just the right heat level, 2 or 3 of the muscles in the dish were unfortunately not the freshest but edible. The house salad was okay. I had the personal pizza, original style, I had mine with artichoke mushroom and prosciutto. It was okay I thought it was a little light on tomato sauce for original pizza and the dough was flaky and not cooked well. Be edges were okay the middle was totally soggy and nonexistent! Just mush! But I hear some people may like it like that. Personally I like my crust thin and crispy. My wife had the spinach garlic pasta and eggplant Rollatini. Her pasta was cooked Al dente just the way I like it and she said her Rollatini was good. All in all it was okay. I didn't leave there thinking boy I have to go back there and try more!

Good prices - great food. I am deducting one star for atmosphere. This place is ridiculously cold - and all the time!! I have been there 5 times, and each time I bring a sweater but I am still cold. It's hard to enjoy a meal while I'm shivering. But other than that, it's a really great place.

The quest for the perfect cup of soup is finally over! I have been searching Boynton Beach area for a cup of soup for months. Every place I go is either bland or cold. Not Agliolio! Tonight my fiancé and I ordered take out. I ordered a cup of pasta fagoli and the Agliolio house salad with blackened chicken on top. The wait wasn't long, we were able to pick it up in 10 minutes. When we brought it home I was so eager to try the soup. As soon as I took my first bite I swear I was in Italian heaven. It was hot, delicious and flavorful. Anxious to try the rest of my meal I took a bite of my salad. The dressing was really good, the only thing that wasn't was the lettuce. Unfortunately the lettuce was of cheap quality; making it taste like it had been in a plastic bag for a week. The blackened chicken was delicious however. Next time I will probably have a pasta dish. Anyways, thank you Agliolio for your awesome soup!

Good place for little kids while still getting good Italian food. We were not blown away by the homemade pastas but they were good. The bread and salad were delicious. The prices were very reasonable.

Had a cheat day on my gluten free diet at this place and it was awesome. First let me say that they DO have a gluten free pasta menu. But the regular pastas are home made, and I just had to try. Everything was tasty. I had spinach pasta with eggplant parm. My boyfriend had chicken parm with pasta. Both delicious. The staff was awesome, nice and helpful. The place was clean, and I like that you can see into the kitchen.

Went here last night with my family. Build your own pasta is a great item on the menu. All the pasta is homemade which makes this restaurant a winner in my book. Attentive service, great food, good prices. We will be back!

Tried this new restaurant last night and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was casual and very nice. The service was excellent, the food was very good and served on time. We ordered a personal sized pizza with a salad and a drink. The price was very reasonable. The pizza was a thin crust with the bruschetta sauce and sausage. It was made perfect amount of food along with the salad for a light dinner. Overall the experience was excellent and we plan to return soon.

We been here only once. I was so excited to try this place. from the moment we step in everything was wrong. The a/c didn't work and they had floor fans. I like the moscato wine. The vodka sauce with pasta was so watery and tasteless. The pizza so thin with a few ingredients. Waste of money. The only good in this restaurant was the server.he took his time to explain the food and gave us the time we need. Those stars are for him. Thanks

My wife and I stopped by here because I was in the mood for Italian. She had the spaghetti and the Sunday gravy sauce which included meatballs and sausage and added mushrooms, they have a great "create your own pasta" menu. I had the fusilli in agliolio sauce which is olive oil, garlic and roasted garlic. My pasta came as a side to the mahi mahi special which was a Parmesan crusted mahi filet fried to perfection smothered in butter. One typical gripe I have with most restaurants in Florida is that they don't salt enough because of all the geezers with high blood pressure. This was a minor problem at Agliolio, they only required a pinch of salt to bring the meal to perfection. Our meal, Glass of wine, glass of Sweet Tea, Fried Mozzarella appetizer, spaghetti and Sunday sauce, two ceaser salads (up charge for ceasars) and Mahi Mahi special came to less than $55 not including the tip which we were glad to include because the service was spot on We'll definitely be back

I went here in the middle of the week just after happy hour so I dont know what I missed. There place was a little empty. The left side of the place seems like a nice restaurant and the right side seems out of place. Its the bar area. Awkward placement. The whole bar area seems to be in the spotlight. There are wrap around windows which are left without any window coverings. I dont mean that the blinds were open. I mean, they dont even own a window shade. Transplant this establishment to the Intracoastal or overlooking a nice sheep farm in Ireland, and I'd say "nice touch". However, overlooking the parking lot of a aging strip mall is not the view anyone wants to see. The bartender was nice and attentive. She didn't have a choice. No one was really in the place. I ordered a mini-pizza white pizza with meatballs) and was glad to learn that it came with a salad and bread. I was actually going to order a soup so it saved me money (lost them money) but kinda stripped me from getting a chance to taste their soup. The place seems to like to do things in the excess. My drink had a lot of ice. The salad was good (cold and had a nice selection of items) but had way too much dressing. The dressing was good, but too much of it. The bread by the way was a little bit un-restaurant-like. It was just kinda cheap bread cut into slices and toasted. Keeping with tradition, they put so much butter on it, that it made the bread so soggy it resembled bread you just plucked out of a swimming pool. The pizza dough had a very good taste and texture. I love white pizza and order whenever I find a place that offers it. What I never like is parmesan cheese and there was plenty of it built into it. The pizza was on the dry side. The meatballs had a good taste but again, the parmesan cheese ruined it for me. I want to give the place another try and see how the pasta and the sauce is. Update- I went again on a Monday to try another dish. The salad this time was drier and almost lacking taste. I declined the bread this time because I was having a larger meal...and asked if I wanted bread. Last time it just appeared next to me and my salad. I ordered the pasta with marinara sauce and breaded chicken. For some reason, I did not see "Chicken parmesan" as a choice of meat on the menu so I ordered the breaded chicken. during my meal I was thinking "how odd that chicken parmesan was not even an option" and it wasnt until I got home and looked at the online menu that I saw it was in fact on the menu. I was going to take full blame for not seeing it but then I started to think "wait a second, its not totally my fault". Its partly their fault for choosing the placement of their items on the menu right? And with that being said, "Chicken Parmesan" is more requested than plain breaded chicken and therefor should be listed near the top of the list of meat choices and not at the bottom. Of course I should have studied the list until I found it. Its not like there was 4 pages of meat choices. But still, a distracted diner talking with friends or family could miss it like I did. Moving on, I got the food in a reasonable amount of time. The pasta was on the same plate as the chicken, but contained within a separate plate. The chicken was large and thin and a little bit on the dry side. Not complainable dry, but drier than it should be. The chicken had a nice taste. The breading was a little crispy, which I love but I could see people maybe not liking it that crispy. There was no sauce on top, bottom, or as a side for dipping with the chicken. I think that would have been a good choice for the restaurant to add to the plate being that they are serving a plain piece of breaded chicken. The pasta was pretty good. You have to remember the pasta is fresh and has that home-made pasta texture/taste. Many people who dont like living outside of the norm would need to know ahead of time that this restaurant uses this type of pasta. Obviously I knew this going in and was actually the driving force to get me in. I chose the marinara because I wanted to know what their traditional sauce tasted like. It was a little too paste-like. It was seasoned nicely but dry. I got the hint of "spicy" but it wasn't overpowering. I'm still debating if it even was spicy. Weird, I know. I had a strong drink and I think I killed my spice-buds.

Great food, great service and reasonable prices. Garlic bread is great, build your own pasta was fun. Had the calamari fr. diablo. Small portion and lots on tentacles. Only disappointing part of the meal.

I was in town for spring break and my sister wanted to go out to eat. She's pretty much a hardcore meat eater and I'm vegan, so it can be hard to find a place we both like. But we found one! She had angel hair with Alfredo sauce. I had the spinach and garlic linguine with pomodoro sauce and a whole mess of vegetables, artichokes, roasted garlic, roasted peppers, onions, and mushrooms I believe. While we both ordered the regular sized bowl of pasta mine seemed so much bigger do to all the extra veggies, at no extra cost, so I highly recommend that approach. The warm bread drizzled with olive oil and garlic was fabulous. My only complaint was the salad - it was pretty overdressed. However, my 2 year old nephew seemed happy to eat the slivers of carrots and pieces of lettuce from the salad, so that's a pretty big accomplishment! The service was excellent as well. I'll be back, hopefully to bump it up to 5 stars.

I love this place. Every time I come here, I leave satisfied. The service is always great and food consistently great. They bring delicious bread to start and refills if you want. I always get the chicken Milanese and it is the best one I have had. The chocolate lasagna is a very yummy dessert too. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Italian wedding soup is Amazing! Love the fresh spinach and carrots they add in! I often eat here for lunch. They have a great sandwich soup combo. I recommend the chicken panini and Italian wedding soup combo! Staff is also super friendly!!

They make the pasta on premises which makes it the freshest pasta around. My favorite thing to order is their penne with the Agliolio sauce (olive oil, chopped and roasted garlic) and grilled chicken. The bread is as good as any I've had here in South Florida and the salad is always just right. The staff is extremely helpful, enthusiastic and helpful. Come check this place out if you are hungry for good Italian food in Boynton Beach. Highly recommended!

I was looking for a good place to eat on my lunch break and stopped in on a whim. Having lived in Italy for three years, I have a special love for pasta. I ordered angel hair pasta agliolio, and since you can add veggies from an impressive list, I topped it with mushrooms, tomatoes and spinach. It included bread and a wonderful house salad. When I got my gorgeous plate of pasta, I almost passed out. The aroma was incredible and the flavor was fantastic. I will never go anywhere else....fresh, scratch pasta, an amazing variety of sauces (the possibilities are practically endless) and great, friendly service. The atmosphere is great and enhanced by a stellar playlist of blues and R&B standards. Loved it! They offer extremely competitive prices, have lunch specials, a pretty extensive menu and happy hour! Haven't done that yet but I plan on it. Try this place...it's truly amazing!

Heard great things about this restaurant so we had to try it. We certainly were not disappointed. The service was perfect. Friendly, attentive and accommodating. The food was absolutely superb. The choices were plentiful and everything is super fresh and homemade. The prices are on the low to medium end which made it even better! I highly recommend Agliolio!!

Great service here, almost endless possibilities to create your own pasta dishes. Pasta, salad, and bread come the dinners or you can create your own personal pizza and that comes with a salad and bread as well!! All the pasta, sauces, and desserts are homemade. Homemade pasta is incredible! This place is definitely one of a kind. If you haven't had a chance to try it out I highly suggest going to eat at this restaurant.

After enjoying a delicious dinner and great service here with my family last weekend, we decided to cater in from Agliolios for my daughters High School graduation party last night. The food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed the thin tender juicy chicken parm, dripping with gooey mozzarella cheese. The authentic mouthwatering meatballs smothered in amazing homemade sauce and the fresh and steamy baked penne was excellent. The warm buttery garlic bread alone is a major attraction. The portions were huge making this an amazing value and the service was incredibly attentive and hospitable. I highly recommend Agliolios for dining in and catering.

Went there for dinner tonight. It was just OK in my book. Started with the crab stuffed mushrooms. Those came our piping hot and tasted very good. The House Salad was iceberg lettuce. Nothing spectacular. I ordered the Chicken Franchese. Tasty dish and pasta pene was perfect. Service was very good. But, I compare this restaurant to Olive Garden and think Olive Garden was better.

Home-made fresh pasta hmmmmm. I was skeptical! We waited about 15 minutes and the place was packed. Unfortunately there was a little confusion at the hostess desk and we decided to leave. That is when we met Amy. As we walked out Amy stopped us and asked if we would reconsider and give them a try. Amy seemed very interested in earning our business so we decided to give them a try. WOW! The service was world class and the food better yet. It felt like my aunt was in the kitchen after I tasted the home-made cavateli with meat balls. They told me they actually let the meatballs sit in the tomato sauce for 24 hours to soak, UNBELIEVABLE ! Our server Danielle was so knowledgable, she actually took us on a menu journey and romanced the preparation process of the food we chose. Thank you for bringing this fine Italian restaurant to Boynton beach. The only thing wrong was the price. It was under priced for the quality of the food and the overall experience. If you want a great meal, great service at a great price this is the place! Thank you Danielle and Amy for your recovery service. You made a believer out of me. Elmer

Stopped by on a Friday night, got a table in the lounge immediately. Plenty of empty booths was we were told it would be a 15 minute wait for one. Service was quick, attentive. Salad was disappointing. Lots of iceberg barely sprinkled with diced tomatoes and black olives. The bread with olive oil was very good. We ordered eggplant parmesan and fettucine alfredo. The great part is that my husband was able to add mushrooms and spinach to his fettucine. However, the dish arrived looking soupy, the sauce didnt cling to the pasta the way an alfredo should. My eggplant parmesan was wonderful, not greasy or deep fried. I ordered penne on the side with a vodka sause. The vodka sauce was amazing! The penne was poorly cooked, flat and a little bit shy of al dente. We were offered dessert to make up for the pasta and we chose the tiramisu. It was so light, and fresh and wonderful! I would only go back during happy hour as the drink and wine prices are a bit steep ( 10.00 for a glass of Pinot, 10.00 for their signature Momma -rita) . We will definitely try Agliolio again, its in the neighborhood and the staff is wonderful.

Great Italian food, definitely worth a visit, it's near my home and I have drove by many times but never visited, will definitely come here again, don't bother with Italian chain restaurants, this place is a gem. Our waiter was super friendly, attentive and the food came out fast and was phenomenal, definitely visiting again..... soon.

Stopped in for dinner while visiting a friend. Everything here is great! The staff are helpful and attentive, the food delicious, and the portions generous. I strongly recommend the spinach linguini, but since all their pasta is fresh made in house I'm sure it's all good.

Hidden Italian Gem. Almost scared to review it, and let out my secret favorite Italian spot. All homemade fresh pasta and toppings. Comes with meal from classic menu. You pick type of pasta, sauce and toppings. Crusty bread at table. Casual. Love this place.

We wanted to have our birthday party there but went to two georges instead $25 off no brainier I would recommend for pasta lovers

Pretty good food for the price. The pasta was delicious. We got linguine with vodka sauce and eggplant parm. Both were delicious and definitely worth going back for. The salad was not very good. Didn't like the dressing at all. Will go back again soon!

  • C T.

Elmer

Hidden Italian Gem. Almost scared to review it, and let out my secret favorite Italian spot. All homemade fresh pasta and toppings. Comes with meal from classic menu. You pick type of pasta, sauce and toppings. Crusty bread at table. Casual. Love this place.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
